Lanf3ust Becomes Rogue Team’s Overwatch Coach

Philippe “Lanf3ust” Rivain has signed a contract with the Rogue team as the new coach for their Overwatch squad.

Lanf3ust started his career in the world of esports when playing Quake 3 before finally moving to Shootmania in 2012 to play with Team ADK and Team aAa. During his time with the AA team, he was manager and streamer. “I have the opportunity to manage players such as l1nkin, soOn, Sephis, akm, esselka, moonl and raidouk,” said Lanf3ust.

“Thanks to them, who gave me such amazing experiences as winning in Prague as well as at ESWC World 2014 and second place at ESWC 2015.”

Since Overwatch was released, Lanf3ust has played in several small teams, including a team called CYKABLYAT which contains Fnatic’s manager, Florian “DRUNKKZ3” Le Bihan. Lanf3ust also served as a manager for the Overwatch Team aAa squad when it was only formed in September.

Rogue came out as one of the best Overwatch teams in the world, but recently had to lose to the EnVyUs team, an opponent they chose for themselves in the OGN APEX tournament.

“Rogue showed very good performance during the match, but we have to keep adapting to the new meta.” said Lanf3ust.

When asked about the current state of the game, Lanf3ust said that “a lot of teams are not yet sure about their composition on different maps.” He also added “I think choosing like Soldier and D.Va will be mandatory, Ana is still the most important choice.”

“I will do my best by managing everything, so that the players can focus on the match.” said Lanf3ust. “Player morality is also a major factor, and I will make sure the atmosphere and spirit in the team is maintained.”
